The Reversible Bug  Board

The reversible Bug Board has several raised channels offering refuge space for frogs, oads, slow worms, snakes and small mammals insects and other wildlife. Two inspection windows can be swung open to view beneath the board with minimal disturbance.

Inspection can take place at any time of day or night, taking care not to disturb any active small mammal nests under the boards. Leave the board in place to protect any young. Because many spices of creature are constantly seeking refuge and safe nesting sites, you may find that an unexpected species is using your baord. This is part of the thrill of surveying an is part of the diversity of your testing ground.

Siting Instructions: The Wildlife Bug Board should be laid upon the ground in woodland, waters edge etc and left for periodic inspection. Short term use is also possible

Once sited the bug board will provide a microhabitat and after only 2 weeks it will be possible to inspect and see interesting activity. Give it another 8 weeks and the inhabitants will be well established. Activity will vary over the seasons and with varying weather conditions.
