If you want to recycle bath or shower water, this little gadget is ideal. The Bath & Shower Saver is connected to the waste water pipe from the bath/shower and hand basin, usually half way up the outside of the house. It acts as a valve that diverts the used water via a hose to a water butt where the hot bath water can be allowed to cool before being used on the garden. The Bath & Shower Saver is connected to the existing pipe work on the outside of the house and is opened or closed by a string pull. - See Detailed Photographs. There is a valve so you only save the water you want to. If you live in a bungalow or ground floor flat, you can still use a Bath & Shower Saver, however you will have to partially bury you water butt so that the top of the butt is below the Bath & Shower Saver. You will also need a small submersible pump to empty the butt. If you live on a slope, you can locate your water butt lower down the garden and connect it to the Saver with a length of hose. If you are on a water meter, the bath & Shower Saver should pay for itself quickly - or if in a hosepipe ban area, will enable you to water the garden quite legally.
