All bedding materials are fine graded worm worked composts, worms settle in this material much quicker than the alternative coir or peat based bedding usually offered. It also has the benefit of ‘extra’ worms in the form of cocoons and baby worms.

Deliveries of worms to Ireland

Customers are advised that although worms are dispatched fresh within 24hrs – ie one working day – on a 1st class delivery by Royal Mail it can take up to 5 working days for the worms to be delivered to Northern Ireland or the Republic if the Royal Mail are not on good form. Therefore it could be wise to order before Monday for the worms to be despatched on a Monday. This will give you a better chance for reasonable delivery. If you would like the worms to be delivered to a work address you would be wise to calculate that the premises may not receive deliveries on Saturdays.
