Delivery & Shipping Information

Mainland UK Delivery - Standard 

Please note that all orders will have a £5.95 delivery charge applied to customers in Mainland UK* areas however this unfortunately excludes certain areas of the Highlands and Scottish Islands.  Carriage costs can vary with weight and our shopping system will usually calculate the worst scenario. if you wish to query the carriage costs calculated on your purchase order please telephone us on 01254 820088 and we will check that you are paying the most economical shipping cost.

If you are in one of the following UK post codes please note that a one off additional carriage charge will need to be applied to your order and this will be calculated at checkout when you enter your delivery address. Should you have any queries in relation to carriage prices then please do contact us before ordering and we will do our very best to answer your query, either by phone 01254 820088 or by email to orders@gardeningworks.co.uk

Please note that deliveries are made by Yodel, Hermes and on occasions other carriers where necessary and do require a signature. Should you not be in when delivery is being made, Yodel will try close neighbours and leave a card if the first delivery fails BUT ONLY ONE card will be left - no more cards will be left on subsequent attempts.

Two more attempts will be made and if these fail then we are afraid that you the customer will then have to arrange to collect your items from the holding depot within 48 hours, before the goods are returned to us the sender.

Return to sender is charged at £16.00 per parcel and we reserve the right to deduct this from any refunds that may become applicable.

Should you decide to ask for delivery whereby goods are left at your designated place, please note that you will assume full liability for the safety of the goods and we cannot be held responsible for any losses or damage when goods are left at your request.

European and International Deliveries

For our customers located in Europe and further afield, we will be delighted to organise for your products to be delivered to you, however unfortunately our shopping cart simply cannot calculate a postage cost due to the varying shipping methods that we use. We always select the most cost effective and reliable shipping method possible and therefore should you be located in a country that requires a shipping cost to be calculated, please call us on +44 (0)1254 820088 or email us at orders@recycleworks.co.uk and we will calculate the cost for you.

Returns and Refunds

1.If you are returning goods that are damaged you should notify us within 72 hours of receiving the goods, we require the goods to be left as they were received, to enable any possible claim to be put against our suppliers or carriers. We would also require photographic evidence of any damages. We will look at each case individually and if we required you to return the goods we will refund the shipping cost, alternatively we will pick up from your premises and provide you a full replacement.


2. Unwanted goods can be returned to us for a refund or credit if they are in perfect resalable condition and within 14 days of receiving these goods. Return costs will be paid by the customer and if you ask us to make arrangements for a pick up we will refund the cost of the goods minus any return shipping costs incurred by The Recycle Works Limited, the cost to be agreed in advance. This may not be exactly the shipping cost shown on the invoice as this is often subsidised.

However we sincerely hope that you will never need to use this service and that your orders will be correct first time and that you will be pleased with your purchases.
