Free Standing Manger Trough Planter

These really pretty free-standing beds are not our own idea and I suspect may be a style that has been used for donkey’s years, but you have asked us to sell these planters constructed in our own unique style and extremely easy construction. They will not dominate your patio, but will add to the environmmental atmosphere. Each planter is supplied with a liner.

So with inspiration from the past there are 4 sizes of Free Standing Manger Vegetable and Flower Beds, most with three lengths.

Add to the original if you want to increase capacity with Add-on Manger Beds that double the capacity in a couple of minutes and at a budget price.

The smallest Ornamental Troughs are perfect size for salads or a colourful shallow root flower display of bedding plants or something like Verbena/Geraniums and Nasturtiums – plants that look warmly colourful and which good cooks love to use for summer dishes. Salads will grow ideally in these troughs, but we seriously recommend that you use copper tape all round the top lip or round the legs, as the slugs may beat you to the feast. Extended add-on troughs make a infinitely decorative boundary between different parts of the garden.

All 11 variations are constructed our unique way; no nails, no screws.

Planed wood?
The surface of the boards is shaved from the sides and edges removing all the rough splinters leaving a smooth surface all round. It results in a thinner board virtually splinter free. It is then much more difficult for very small animals and microbes to get a foothold.
