Scarecrows - Wurzel Family Scarecrows

Our delightful family of Wurzels Napus and Cascara Wurzel and their two children Compo Wurzel and Tumshie Wurzel.will entertain your family and share their great sense of fun with you for years. Our Scarecrows are available in two types:

Complete - These fun scarecrows come with their own pair of brand new jeans. We include a shirt/T shirt, cravat and tall tapered standing pole which can be positioned right away.
Kit - Purchase a Scarecrow with only the body head and long support pole for fixing in the garden/field.

When ordering simply choose the name of the Scarecrow family you wish to purchase and whether they are 'Complete' or simply just the 'Kit" (See options below)

These are very popular for the many hundreds of local Festival Lovers who like to personalise these guys

Arms are articulated and bend allowing you to change the posture and the clothes, They will sit down or stand tall at home, in a garden or field.

Scarecrows are a fabulously imaginative present for Christmas, Halloween, Guy Fawkes Night or Birthdays and Anniversaries They are unique.

Dress your Scarecrow as a Member of your team, your school or a favoured character. The possibilities are endless. Make it your own as they say on X factor! Every scarecrow will differ owing to the nature of being hand made, and using different facial features and clothes. Distinguishing features will be individual and therefore differ slightly with each member of the Wurzel family but there will remain a family likeness. Re-use any packaging to stuff the clothes.

This wonderful family of handmade articulated Scarecrows will quickly become part of your own family. They assume a sort of life of their own and watch out, they can suddenly put their arms round you, quite unexpectedly!

Use your sports team T shirt or school uniform. Make them into Witches, Guys, Father Christmas, Snowman, Superman or a Space Invader and give them their own pet name. Put them in the garden to shout and cheer for your team. Take them to the game. They are very portable. You could, of course put them on the allotment or the potager.

Napus and Cascara extended stand about 2m high, including the removable standing post which needs to go 40cm in the ground.
Teenagers, Compo and Tumshie Wurzel are 1.75cm tall inclusive of post as above. Cascara has a baby, Cara. Cara is fostered by a lovely family in Yorkshire.

All the scarecrows will sit with the post removed. Remove post simply by sliding it out at the back.

Download some Wurzel Family faces as well as some blank ones to use to design your own. You can do this by reversing the head and painting your own or just use a mask.

Please note: Scarecrows will arrive partly assembled but because of their 'kit' form, you can tweak and customise the head and clothing!
