Square Foot Gardening

The SIX PACK Raised Bed is very versatile. The Six Pack can be used for sowing seeds directly into the soil for a quick harvesting method of growing called Square Foot Gardening. It can be used as a regular Raised Bed and is ideal for small children who like to stand up to the job.

This innovative Raised bed can be divided into six sections, each dedicated to growing different produce. In fact each space is a generous 50 x 60cm (1ft 8” x 2ft)

Basically a different type of seed is sown in each square. As the seeds grow and mature they are thinned out, that is the small vegetables and leaves are taken out to eat as sweet fresh snacks leaving room for the rest of the plants to grow bigger. You can continue harvesting the baby vegetables and eating them until there is room for the remainder to mature to full size. Sowing seeds at regular intervals will maintain a supply of baby veg.

Each bed will hold 9 bags of 60lt compost so plenty of room for growing lots of wonderful vegetables! Compost is available for purchase separately.

The Six-Pack Veggie Box is manufactured from wood that comes from F.S.C. certificated Northern European Forests. It has been treated with a non-toxic preservative that will not kill the worms & bugs in the compost or spoil your plants.
