Soil Testing  Fisrt Aid

Soil testing is fairly seasonal, as it is far better to know what you are putting your plants into than the alternative of finding out what you have put them into. We have some good testing products from which to choose. The Fertometer is a new product and the one for a fastidious pot grower.

• Handy pH,N,P,K Kit They sell out pretty quickly. This will do about 40 tests.
• Soil pH Testing Kit that uses a phial and enough for about 30 tests.
• pH Meter probe which you leave in the soil for 60 seconds to get a reading and use as many times as you like. Once you have the diagnosis you have the knowledge to do something about it, and do it now, before you set plants that need specific nutrients.
