You have a choice of depths:  This is indicated by the number 1-5 in the Options selection. This is the number of 15cm (6") boards supplied with the module.

Please Note: The depth of your additional module must be either the same or shallower than your existing Raised Bed. If you require an additional module that is deeper than you existing Raised Bed, please phone our Sales Office on 01254 820088 to ensure we can supply you with the appropiate posts.

Compost Requirements for Raised Beds (60L bags)
Classic: 2 bags per board depth
Long: 2.5 bags per board depth
Big Square: 3.5 bags per board depth

Planed wood?
The surface of the boards is shaved from the sides and edges removing all the rough splinters leaving a smooth surface all round. It results in a thinner board virtually splinter free. It is then much more difficult for very small animals and microbes to get a foothold.
