Why to use Raised Beds?

Control of soil quality and texture, good drainage, orderliness and ease of tending and harvesting.

With a foot print of 90 x 90 cm, you choose from 5 different heights.

The number next to the title (e.g CRB1) indicates how many 15 cm (6") boards high the Raised Bed is, e.g CRB1 = 1 x 15cm board high, CRB2 = 2 x 15cm boards high (30cm) and so on.

Which depth is best for me?

CRB 1 – Salads – Starter kits – Kids Gardening
CRB 2 – Most useful. Most vegetables, Peas, Dwarf Beans
CRB 3 – Root vegetables, spuds and where drainage is a big problem
CRB 4 – Showbench root veg – Spuds - Beans - Low Wheelchair – Stand up gardening.
CRB 5 – Wheelchair – Spuds – Beans - Stand up gardening.

All these Raised Bedsare extendable with modules of a similar footprint and attach by sliding onto one side of the original Raised Bed

Classic Raised Beds can be linked with The Classic Raised Bed Modules and/or the Long Raised Bed Additional Modules to add a variety to your layout. See Detailed Images.

All Wood used is completely environmentally sound (Product Sustainability A|nalysis below) and hard wearing indeed. The wood is slow - grown in the northernmost part of Europe for tight grain with long lasting properties. The wood used does not have any chemical treatments

The number of modules used governs the total footprint of the raised bed and additional modules can be added at a later date to increase your growing area.

Please Note: That if you add an additional module to an existing Raised Bed, ensure that you select a module that is either of the same depth or shallower than your existing Raised Bed.
