The Flat Pack Enviroshed.

In response to requests we have developed a 6’ x 4’ self assembly Garden Shed made here at our factory in Ribchester.

The wood is FSC whitewood grown in Northern Scandinavia. This slow grown wood has long lasting qualities as the growth rings are very close together.

The Environmental Garden Shed is made from 20ml boards, double tongue & groove for total waterproofing and treated with our non-toxic wood preservative. The flat roof allows more inside storage and can accommodate an optional Green 'Sedum Roof' with low maintenance, which we can also supply - see below.

For example a low growing Sedum is a popular finish and Wildflowers and meadow flowers are often used in this way.

The Enviroshed comes with all screws, hinges and is predrilled. For security in gardens and allotments and school grounds we recommend the Enviroshed without a window, but you can chose the window option. Additionally the Enviroshed comes with a Solar light and padlock.

The Enviroshed is predrilled for roof drainage into water butts on diagonally opposite corners.

Green 'Sedum' Roof Option

Designed as an alternative roof for our Enviroshed, the sedum roof is a great way of adding extra greenery and biodiversity to any setting.

The sedum roof is provided as a pre-grown blanket, with the sedum plants rooted into a single bonded drainage layer.  Its easy to install and will require only a little trimming before being laid onto the roof.

The roof will require plentiful watering when first installed and a little weeding from time to time will ensure that it continues to thrive.  
Sedum roofs should be calculated on square meter basis when ordering as they can be cut and patch-worked to fit different shapes.

2m x 1.5m (3 sq m) will fit the Recycleworks Enviroshed. Larger sizes are available and the price of larger sizes will diminish slightly pro rata.
