Bats require require specific ledges to cling to in their roosts. As bats like ledge spacing to be just so, these bat boxes are spaced exactly the way bats like them.

Inside there are two chambers, so there is plenty of space.

Although these bat boxes have a door on the front, please remember that as bats are a protected species, it is illegal to disturb a roost - so don't keep opening the box to see if anything is 'at home'!
