Wooden Cold Frames.

We have two sizes available, both high at the back & lower at the front to catch the most of early spring sunshine.

Standard, suitable for trays and smaller plants and Deep will take large10” pots with bigger plants.
Cold Frames are made at our factory from FSC wood treated with chestnut non-toxic preservative.

The lid is made from (unbreakable) polycarbonate which is uv stable (it will not let in harmful rays & will not burn plants).

Both sizes of Cold Frames will link into both to our standard and deep raised beds as well as our compost bins, see Detailed View for some examples of the combinations. Please note, a Standard Cold Frame, will not  connect to a deep raised bed without replacing two of the posts, if this is the case please pone Sally on 01254 820088.

Standard Cold Frame: 45(h) x 91 x 91cm.
Deep Cold Frame: 60(h) x 91 x 91cm

The heights shown are those of the back boards of the Cold Frames.
Front boards are 15cm lower than those of the back.
